Call for Papers

The Small Business Institute® Journal publishes scholarly work related to the research, teaching, or practice of small business and entrepreneurship.  We invite you to visit our most recent publication, Volume 13, Issue 1.  Our purpose is to promote and advance quality scholarship and discussion of important, contemporary small business issues.

 SBIJ is a peer-reviewed journal that is included in Cabell’s International.  The journal is an open-access, fully-online journal.  The journal is freely available to scholars and your publications can be linked directly through most scholarly social networking platforms (such as ResearchGate, Google Scholar, LinkedIn, etc.).

All SBIJ papers should have a clear, explicit, small business focus in any of the following areas.
